Wow, there´s a lot of emotion in this, and warmth. I really like it. Looks like the kind of relaxed holding hands that you do with someone you know very well... I like the mix of techniques too. Beautiful!
This work gives credence to what I have always known - artistic ability is genetic. Both you and your mother are very talented. Amy, I could never duplicate your drawing but I could weave a wonderful tale about those hands, the work they've done, the babies they've held, and the happiness and grief in which they have partaken.
