Seascape Study - from a photograph
I'm working a lot now with photographs because the cold weather has finally set in ..... soooo depressing. Working from photos gets me through my "need" for painting, but the experience is nothing like the plein aire painting I have come to know and love. It's only November and it already feels like Spring will never come .....

Your stuff is going off the charts,Trace, and evolving all the time. In particular, the emotion in the toddler's face is purely artistic. And here, for the first time... a dynamic exciting sky! Awesome. And look at all the comments you've gotten!
